What is YourLife CC — Life OS?

YourLife CC is a family life skills app built for teens and young adults (middle school through young adult). It's a complete command center that covers school tracking, chores, goals, health, money, faith, career prep, and more — all in one place.

Parents get a dedicated Parent Hub to monitor progress, assign chores, send notes, run quizzes, and manage rewards — while kids get a personalized dashboard that grows with them through every life stage.

How do I get started after signing up?

After completing your purchase you'll receive an email with an activation link. Click it, set your password, and you're in.

First steps:

  • Go to Settings → Set your name and life stage (Middle School, High School, College, etc.)
  • Add your child profiles in the Parent Hub
  • Set up a Parent PIN to keep your hub secure
  • Explore the Full Tutorial anytime via Settings → Full Detailed Tutorial
What life stages does the app support?

Life OS adapts its content and visible sections based on your child's life stage:

  • 🎒 Middle School — Core skills, chores, habits, growing up basics
  • 📚 Freshman (9th Grade) — School tracking, goals, health, faith
  • 📖 High School (10th–11th) — Career exploration, resume, driving, finances
  • 🎓 Senior Year — College prep, life skills, milestones
  • 🏛️ College — Full financial tools, budget, investing basics
  • 💼 Young Adult — Complete life management, all sections unlocked

Change the life stage anytime in Settings.

Is there a tutorial or walkthrough?

Yes! Go to Settings → Full Detailed Tutorial — it walks through every section of the app with tips and examples. You can also reopen the Quick Start wizard from the Settings menu anytime.

Can multiple children use the same account?

Yes — one subscription covers your whole family. You can add multiple child profiles from the Parent Hub. Each child gets their own profile, PIN, avatar, data, and personalized dashboard. Parents can switch between profiles from the home screen.

👤 Account & Login
I didn't receive my activation email. What do I do?

Check your spam/junk folder first — activation emails sometimes land there.

If it's not there, email us at info@kingdom-creatives.com with your purchase email address and we'll resend it manually within a few hours.

💡 Add info@kingdom-creatives.com to your contacts to prevent future emails from going to spam.
How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, click "Forgot password" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.

How do I change my email address?

Email us at info@kingdom-creatives.com with your current email and new email address. We'll update it for you.

Will my data be saved if I close the app?

Yes. When logged in with a cloud account, your data is automatically synced to the cloud and restored on any device you log into. If you're using local-only mode, data is saved in your browser's local storage — it will persist as long as you use the same browser on the same device.

⚠️ Clearing your browser cache or using Incognito mode will not save local data. Always use a cloud account to protect your data.
Can I use the app on multiple devices?

Yes — log into your account on any device (phone, tablet, computer) and your data will sync automatically. The app works in any modern browser.

How do I delete my account?

Email info@kingdom-creatives.com with your account email and request for deletion. We'll remove all your data within 5 business days.

What plans are available?

YourLife CC offers three plans:

  • 💙 Monthly — Pay month to month, cancel anytime
  • 💛 Yearly — Best value, billed once per year
  • 💜 Lifetime — One-time payment, access forever

All plans include the full app for the entire family — no per-child charges.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Email us at info@kingdom-creatives.com with your account email and we'll cancel your subscription immediately. You'll retain access through the end of your current billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on monthly and yearly plans. If you're not happy within the first 7 days, email us at info@kingdom-creatives.com and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked.

Lifetime plans are non-refundable after 7 days.

My payment failed — what happens to my account?

If a payment fails, your account will show a "Past Due" status. You'll still have a grace period to update your payment method. Update it via your Stripe billing portal or email us and we'll send you a direct link.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes! Find your referral link in the app under Refer & Earn in the sidebar. When someone signs up using your link, you earn a reward. Referral payouts are processed monthly on the 1st.

To set up your payout method, email info@kingdom-creatives.com with your name, Venmo/PayPal handle, and the subject "Referral Payout Setup."

What is the Life Score?

The Life Score is a point system that tracks overall progress across the app. Points are earned by completing daily habits, reading scripture, finishing chores, logging workouts, writing journal entries, completing lessons, and more. It's designed to motivate consistent engagement across all areas of life — not just school or chores.

What are Parent Bucks?

Parent Bucks are a virtual reward currency that parents award to kids for completing chores, good behavior, achieving goals, and passing quizzes. Kids can redeem Parent Bucks in the Rewards Store for prizes that parents set up — screen time, outings, Amazon gift cards, whatever works for your family.

How does the scripture banner rotation work?

The scripture banner on the home dashboard displays rotating Bible verses. There are 30 built-in verses that rotate automatically. You can:

  • Tap › Next Verse to skip to the next one manually
  • Turn on Auto-Rotate to cycle automatically on a timer
  • Add your own custom scriptures or quotes
  • Switch to Motivational mode for non-faith quotes
  • Turn the banner off completely

All of these settings are in Parent Settings → Scripture Rotation.

Can I hide sections my family doesn't use?

Yes — go to Settings → Sections and toggle any section on or off. Hidden sections disappear from the sidebar completely. This is useful for keeping the app focused and uncluttered for younger kids.

How do Daily W's (habits) work?

Daily W's are your daily habit checklist on the home dashboard. Built-in habits include prayer, Bible reading, workout, water intake, journaling, study, gratitude, and sleep. You can add custom habits too. Check them off each day to build streaks and earn Life Score points. They reset daily at midnight.

What is the Life Map?

The Life Map is a visual game board on the home dashboard showing your progress across 16 key life areas. As you complete activities in different sections of the app, your game piece advances. It's a visual way to see how balanced and active you are across all areas of life.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Hub
How do I access the Parent Hub?

Click Parent in the top navigation bar or find it in the sidebar. You'll be prompted to enter your Parent PIN. If you haven't set one yet, go to Settings → Set Parent PIN.

💡 Set your PIN before adding children — it keeps your hub private and secure from kids browsing the app.
What can I do from the Parent Hub?

The Parent Hub gives you full oversight and control:

  • 📊 Weekly Report Card — See each child's progress across all sections
  • Chore Management — Assign, verify, and approve chores
  • 🪙 Parent Bucks — Award or deduct points, manage the rewards store
  • 📝 Parent Notes — Post notes visible on your child's dashboard
  • 🧠 Send a Quiz — Quiz your kids on life skills topics
  • 📅 Incentive Conditions — Set up screen time or reward rules tied to app completion
  • 👤 Child Profiles — Manage all child accounts from one place
How do I add a child profile?

Go to Parent Hub → Child Profiles → Add Child. Enter their name, age, and life stage. They'll get their own profile with a PIN you set for them. You can add photos or choose an avatar for each child.

Can my child see my Parent Hub?

No — the Parent Hub is protected by your PIN. Kids cannot access it without the PIN. Journal entries are also completely private — parents can see that a child has written entries but cannot read the content.

How do chore verification and Parent Bucks work together?

Here's the flow:

  • Parent assigns chores with a Parent Bucks value from the Parent Hub
  • Child marks the chore complete from their Chores section
  • Parent receives a notification and verifies from the Parent Hub
  • Parent Bucks are awarded automatically upon verification
  • Child redeems Parent Bucks in the Rewards Store for prizes you've set up
I forgot my Parent PIN. How do I reset it?

Go to Settings → Reset Parent PIN. You'll need to verify your identity via your account email. If you're locked out completely, email us at info@kingdom-creatives.com and we'll help you reset it.

✝️ Faith Features
Can I turn off the faith/scripture features?

Yes — go to Settings → Content → Faith Mode and toggle it off. When off, all scripture sections, Bible references, and faith-specific content are hidden. Daily devotionals become non-religious "Daily Reflections" instead. This setting is per-profile so each family member can have their own preference.

What's in the Bible & Faith section?

The Bible & Faith section includes:

  • 📖 Daily Devotionals — 365 devotionals with scripture, reflection, and prayer
  • ✝️ Jesus & Purpose — Character and faith lessons
  • 📚 Learn the Bible — Bible overview and study guides
  • 📖 Bible Study — Reading plans and notes
  • 🌟 My Journey — Personal faith milestones and prayer journal
Can I add my own scriptures to the banner rotation?

Yes — go to Settings → Scripture Rotation → Add Custom Scripture. Enter the verse text and reference and it will be added to the rotation alongside the 30 built-in verses. You can delete custom verses at any time from the same settings panel.

🔧 Technical & Troubleshooting
The app is showing old data or not loading correctly.

Try a hard refresh — go to Settings → Refresh App → Hard Refresh / Clear Cache. This forces the app to reload from scratch, bypassing cached files.

On mobile you can also close and reopen the browser tab, or clear your browser cache manually.

💡 If you see a "Seeing wrong data?" banner on the home screen, click the Refresh App button right there.
The app works on desktop but not on my phone.

Make sure you're using a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, or Edge). The app is fully mobile-responsive. Try these steps:

  • Clear your mobile browser cache
  • Make sure you're visiting yourlifecc.com/app — not a cached bookmark
  • Try opening in an Incognito/Private window to rule out cache issues
  • If using iOS Safari, make sure it's updated to the latest version
My data disappeared after logging out.

If you were using local mode (not logged into a cloud account), data is stored in your browser and won't transfer between devices or after clearing cache. Always make sure you're logged in with your account email to enable cloud sync.

If you were logged in and data is missing, email us at info@kingdom-creatives.com — we may be able to recover it.

Can I add the app to my phone's home screen?

Yes — this gives you a native app-like experience:

  • iPhone/iPad: Open Safari → tap the Share button → "Add to Home Screen"
  • Android: Open Chrome → tap the three-dot menu → "Add to Home Screen"

The app will open full-screen without the browser bar, just like a native app.

The translation / language picker isn't working.

The language translation feature uses Google Translate. Make sure you're connected to the internet and that your browser isn't blocking third-party scripts. Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, email us at info@kingdom-creatives.com.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. Your data is stored securely in our cloud database (Supabase) with encryption at rest and in transit. We never sell your data to third parties. Journal entries are private — even in the Parent Hub, parents can only see that entries exist, not the content.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Go to Settings → Support → Submit a Bug Report. Select the area, describe what happened, and hit Send. It goes directly to our team. You can also email info@kingdom-creatives.com directly.
